The world has now officially run out of fossil fuels. The roads are empty. The parking lots are empty. Limited electricity. We are fighting over the bit of gas left in our cars. You do not see many cars. Mainly electric cars. It is also hard to get an electric car, because all the electric cars in the stores are sold out, and the company needs power to make more cars. So naturally, the market for alternative energy have been growing fast. Very few households have electricity. Mostly famous and important people have electricity. The government is controlling the electricity. Who will get how much? Most streets have lights turned on, but some do not. It might become a problem. There has been a lot of talk about converting to nuclear power, but the problem is we do not have the resources to build it. There is not a lot machinery running on electric power. Most big machines use fuel. The market for generators is growing a lot too. So the price for a bike powered phone charger is getting expensive. Many consumers are selling them, and earning a lot of money by making them. The only problem for the makers are the components. They need them shipped, which firstly is difficult, and secondly expensive. As I mentioned before, many people are converting to alternative energy, but it is difficult in these days. So many people are reverse engineering. Reverse engineering is when you take scrap parts from electronics, and reusing them in new ways. People are using parts from their old washing machines to build generators, and building bikes out of old metal they have found at the dumping ground.
